Sharpening Day - February 1, 2020

It was a busy day at the annual Sharpening Day event for Blue Ridge Woodturners and Smith Mountain Lake Woodturners, hosted by club member Willie Simmons at his workshop in Fincastle. With several sharpening stations and lathes set up, this event allows both veteran and new turners a hands-on way to learn both proper sharpening and turning techniques in a casual and helpful atmosphere of woodturning fellowship.
