Start with a silhouette design based on the thickness of your blank.
Checking tool fit is vital to make sure you can access the contours of your silhouette with your tools.
Transferring measurements from the bottom of the silhouette (bear’s feet, stomack, under neck) onto the blank.
Precise measurements are critical, from top and bottom. Turning will be done from the bottom up, then the black will flipped and re-chucked to turn from the top down.
